This Privacy Policy explains how One Brain (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the One Brain mobile and web application (the “Service”).

Information you provide

• Account information (e.g., email address) used to authenticate you.
• Optional profile information (e.g., display name).
• User content you choose to store: reminders, notes, warranties, invoices, and financial entries.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app diagnostics (e.g., device type, OS version, crash logs) to maintain and improve the Service.
• Authentication identifiers and timestamps generated by our authentication provider.

We do not intentionally collect precise location data or government identification numbers. Payment card details are not stored by us when subscriptions are purchased through app stores.

3) How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the Service (sign-in, data sync, storage, and retrieval).
• Send notifications you enable (e.g., reminders).
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests.
• Manage premium features, trials, and subscription status.

We use trusted cloud providers to store and process data. For example, One Brain uses Google Firebase (authentication, database, and related services).

• No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we continuously improve protections.

6) Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only:

• With service providers who process data on our behalf to operate the Service (e.g., hosting, analytics, notifications).
• To comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• In connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger or acquisition), with appropriate safeguards.

7) International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect data transfers.

All users can request access, correction, export, or deletion of their personal data.

EU/UK: You may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object, and data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You may have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. One Brain does not sell personal information.

Australia: You may have rights under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) to access and correct personal information, and to make a complaint to us or the OAIC.

9) Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your data or request account deletion.

10) Children’s Privacy

One Brain is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice in the app.
